GEORGE TOWN: She has a cute nose and big brown eyes, but
6-month-old Siti Zalina Mat Isa is small for her age.
And because she has a serious heart condition, she suffers frequent
chest infections.
She needs surgery to correct a hole in the heart and a leaking
valve, which will cost RM30,000.
Her parents, from Kuala Ketil, Kedah, are unable to pay for the
surgery.
Her father Mat Isa Hamid, 58, is a rubber tapper who earns RM500 a
month.
Her mother Che Basah Watih, 40, had to quit her job at a rubber
factory to look after her.
The couple has five other children, aged from 10 to 21.
