6-pointer entering an 18-point course in Poly?

I'm curious to know your opinions about this. I got 6 points (L1R2B2) and there's this particular course in Polytechnic that I intend to join. Unfortunately the COP for that course is 18 points, and I'm afraid of being affected by people of well, lower intellect.

i have a 7/8 pointer in my COP 13 course in poly last time and he was struggling to stay afloat...

being well in 'O's doesnt mean u can do well in poly...

I really don't know what to say without being harsh on you.

If you really are afraid of being 'affected' by 'people of lower intellect' based on their O Level results, then I say you really need remedial lessons - in EQ.

Because well, I've got all kinds of stories from my seniors who talk about their classmates who do nothing but skip all their lectures and ignore their projects, because majority of them didn't come in by choice.

get a reality check boy. These "lower intellect" classmates may nt be exam ass-smart (i.e. mugging and memorizing text as well as you do), but they thrive in being street smart, has exceptionally high level of EQ, and are probably good at hands-on.
