Education Advice after O levels

but I had teachers telling me, all schools are the same. Its all up to you whether you will want to work or not. If you are hardworking, even if you are from neighbourhood PRIMARY SCHOOL you also can score single digits in O level if for that 4 years, you mug and do TEN YEAR SERIES.

Getting into good secondary schools/junior colleages gives you more competition that 'makes' you work more. But what if you cannot cope and lose out?

you are wrong.... The final university is important while the other schools are not.

Some kid who goes to top schools may have a nice resume of top schools (primary, secondary and tertiary).

However, he'll still lose out to someone who has gotten to lousy schools but has studied in world top universities such as oxford etc. not including coming back with an accent.

Let these kids grow up and see for themselves.

I find it very sad that some 16 year old students from top secondary schools think they have it made for life just because of their school's reputation.

Let them enjoy themselves first before they enter into the cruel working world. Laughing
