Acrostic Poem for Someone

So did it brought a smile to your pretty face? Yes it did. :)

Callan SG

Making a difference to my life,
Illuminating the crimosn sky,
Surfing across up high,
Saving the boring night.

Thinking of you made me breathless,
Igniting my heart flameless,
No end is my thoughts of you,
Yank me close to you.

Miss Tiny SG

Waaaahh.

To answer your question Miss Tiny,

Cyber Imagination

Deep in the tunnels of my mind,
images abound,
Silky Hair and Sparkling eyes,
tempt me like the devil.
Was that pair of eyes yours?
I sure hope it is,
for none charmed me like it did.

Words flow like streams of clouds,
into my mind they went.
fogging my thoughts no end.
A vision is finally form,
and how beautiful you look.

I pondered, if this was you,
but why the heck I care?
This is how I want you,
and how you will to me.

Till we meet shall it perish,
or maybe it will stay.
"Nonetheless" I told myself,
you are beautiful this way.

Dive into my heart please

Always being difficult to get

Infect me with a disease call caring please

Sinful, I have been but it was all worth it for you.

Until the day comes, I'll still wait for you.

Kindly there for you

Ending the journey to attain your love

-
Kill me with something

Unified me with the bodies of those you have killed as well

No matter what, please keep my heart to yourself

what's wrong?

thehappybunny SG

igniting my heart flameless....isn't it like a one step forwards and one step back kinda thing?

igniting a fire, yet when you use flameless...

oh never mind, just some opinion on my side.
props for the poems

It is very much an oxymoron. When you ignite something, you cause something to burn, normally with fire. But in this case, the heart actually got ignited without a flame. IT represents a state of confusion and wonder, a palpitating heart filled with excitment ready to explode.

In acrostics, you are only given a few sentences to express alot. Thus to preserve the poetic nature of the work, the feelings in the poem are mostly hidden and not entirely exposed. It's not like you are writing a composition. The need for it to be linguistically beautiful is still there.

This is a open forum and I hate to be marking your essay. (Note the word essay.) But expressions towards poetry should be started young and thus I should not be dousing thy flames.

Callan SG

Woah... is this a love poem??

It's just something to burn my braincells since they are overwhelming me at night.

Nothing much but a little something to make a pretty face smile.
