854 fleet usually got at least 10 DDs and 5 bendies from what i
observe on weekdays
especially on weekends got more bendies though
what im curious is where did most of the OC500LE's on 854 go to?
have disappeared for months
AMDEP had been very inconsistent with their fleets nowadays ever
since they followed the BCM deployment, unlike KJDEP and WLDEP
which still practices “perm fleets”.
From what I notice, some weekends seems to have slightly more
DDs then bendies running on 854. Sometimes very few DDs. Fleet is
very inconsistent. On Sundays and PH, some of the bendies would run
on 171/859 without fail.
For the low capacity fleets on 854, it seems that there are more
A22s running on 854 these days instead. The OC500LEs seems to be
doing services like 980 lately.
In fact 854 fleet had been doing quite fine with the WABs when
AMDEP took over the B1 A95s from KJDEP back in Oct 2016. However
things slowly went back to reality when the Woodlands services went
under AMDEP due to BCM. It is all thanks to the Seletar package
that Yishun feeders benefitted with the fleet upgrade and this
landed 854 with all the spam old bendies affecting the WAB quota.
Other services like 857 seems to be affeced too with more
occurrences of old bendies these days. I am not sure about 169, 856
and 969. 963 seems unaffected at all.
If I remembered correctly, 854 used to operate full WAB fleet at
night. But ever since Yishun feeders got the upgrade, there are
several old bendies running on 854 even at night.
I hope AMDEP look into this matter. 854 WAB quota is really a
no-go compared to every other SMRT trunk services.
