I follow my mother to Sheng Siong supermarket, while my dad park
his car by the carpark n read newspaper, n my sister also inside
car play her psp, coz she bin dua, dun wanna follow.
Then my mother choose veggies, as usual, must bring the veggies
in those transparent bag to weighing counter n weigh.
I keep going to the weighing counter a few times to let the
auntie weigh my stuffs..weigh ginger, weigh dua tau chye etc.
Later, my mum passed me this bag of baby eggplants.
I see the auntie busy doing something nearby. So i decided to be
pro-active, so the auntie won't be so busy mah. I decided to
ownself take the plastic bag of eggplant n seal it myself n place
it on the weighing machine swee swee, so all the auntie have to do
is press the correct button n paste the label on it. Easy for her
mah...
anyway i see before many times the auntie seal the bag with the
tape machine, looks easy. i sure can do one. Just have to take the
plastic bag top n press it down thru the tape machine's
opening.
the tape machine -
ok here goes, i took the bag of eggplant, the top part, n press
it down thru the hole. Then when i pull it out, KNN CB! the plastic
bag kenna stuck to the sticky tape. Die liao lah, i pull, n then
the plastic bag ripped opened, n the long tape still stuck to
it.
i panicked n the eggplants almost dropped outta the ripped hole.
i think i made the tape machine jammed. Then i pretend nothing
happen, n the auntie saw me, n i gave her the bag with broken hole
to weigh. Then i paiseh n said 'oops bag broken'
She say nevermind n put the label over the hole to cover it lor.
Haha, the bag not even sealed properly.
Damn it, i so paiseh, i hope nobody saw me. Damn, i should've
let the auntie do everything. It looks easy but when u do sure
cockup one... maybe i was just suay lah.
Hokkien say kiang tio hor, mai keh kiang. means that being smart is
good enough, don't go n act smart.
Later i see she use the tape machine to seal up groceries for
another customer, waa heng ah the machine still working. if not i
jialat lol.
OK GUYS, REMEMBER HOR!! THE MORAL OF THIS STORY...DUN ACT SMART
K? LET EXPERTS DO THEIR THING.... just like few days ago, got ppl
start thread say they return their plates n tray at foodcourt
(thinking that by doing do is being a good citizen), n then
cleaning auntie tell them off.... coz i think auntie scared if
everybody return their own plates n tray, then auntie outta job
liao lor.
today i learnt my lesson, lol
