How many think NTU is running a scam?

I had a Caltech project with NTU but the project screwed up and I dropped out. They refused to let me in. I called them several times and they refuse to answer. Screw. Sigh. So how to sue them? I suggest the negativtists be polite about it. You all are not being constructive here. NO offense meant. I am being polite already. Yeah, it is a cosmic Watergate.

Here is the gory details. Nobody was to be able to use a Matlab or electronic software w/o tutelage. My project which I thought was to be with guidance was by the professor was chock full of advanced computer notations which nobody could understand and which I suspect his American collobarator was a fraud lah. His paper looks very shallow man. Let's do not try to mention names if not hell will break loose. That professor normally very friendly and full of mega-projects. It does not help further when I quoted a Stanford paper as a result. Who wants extra details?

When I had the Stanford paper and wrote the FYP, i was in EEE. I wrote the FYP report. The professor did help me with the project lah. I thought everything was a-ok but the prof told me to rewrite the paper. Alright, I was under medication but I am really A-Okay. Its very complicated. Under the stress, I quitted and later I tried to reappeal back but they do not allow. I mean what would you do when you see a Stanford paper in front of you, right? It does not help when the paper was relatively sub-par. I wasn't kicked out. They just refuse to readmit me in. Sigh. I do not make story up what else you want to know and how can you help? This is SGforums, gals.

First, I think you should not use harsh words like scam and associate it with an entity without solid evidence. I assume if you had solid evidence, you would have sued their asses off and get what you wanted, but the fact that you posted here without seeking legal counsel suggests you do not have solid evidence.

Secondly, if you want a way out of this situation, the best people to talk to are those who have the authority to help you out. I feel that by airing your grievances online, it may do more harm than good for you personally.

If you really think there's something really fishy going on and you have proof and for some reason don't want to seek legal advice, then go to the media for help, and justify your case to them.

I know what you mean FireIce. I googled here and there heard your reputation is very bad. Hardwarezone got people hantam. Not everybody is completely white nor black, its shades of grey. Lest the prof in charge wants to talk in this forum, blah and blah. Maybe because my secondary school does things American style, then my JC does in Singapore-style, then NTU does everything Singapore-style, American context so I got cultural adaptation problem then the adminstration never understands what I say. But I dont know you lah, FireIce. I think my secondary school more liberal so I had hard adaptation to rote-learning and spoon-feeding bah.

I think NTU is too much, abused us with those lazy China HK profs, DSTA #$#$ and wayang bosses in Industrial Attahcments men. I was not even one of those lazy ppl who do not want to study just that I am sick and that two doctors are lazy arrogant bastards man. To think the Slyvester the cat betrayed me. Fark.
