Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven?
Would you feel the same
If I saw you in heaven?
I must be strong and carry on
cause I know I dont belong here in heaven...
Would you hold my hand
If I saw you in heaven?
Would you help me stand
If I saw you in heaven?
Ill find my way through night and day
cause I know I just cant stay here in heaven...
[b]Time can bring you down, time can bend your knees
Time can break your heart, have you begging please...begging
please
Beyond the door theres peace Im sure
And I know therell be no more tears in heaven...
Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven?
Would you feel the same
If I saw you in heaven?
I must be strong and carry on
cause I know I dont belong here in heaven...

Something about these song :- This song is written and sang by Eric
Clapton. It is rumored that this song is written for Eric Clapton's
son who passed away.
I used to think that this is a sad song(with nice melody) but never
truely understand this song. Especially the part " Time can bring
you down, time can bend your knees. Time can break your heart, have
you begging please...begging please" , it just simply makes no
sense to me at that time.
But just recently, I finally understand how it feels... Time is
eternal. Every minute pass, it add an emotional load on one...
Eventually, time can bring one down, time can bend one's knees.
Time can break one's heart and have tat one begging please...
The above is especially true for those who tries to resist them

They once said he sold his soul to the devil in return for his
talent in the blues. Wonder how true that is. Sort of a catch 22 me
thinks.
I still like Wind of Change best.
The wind of change blows straight
Into the face of time
Like a stormwind that will ring
The freedom bell for peace of mind
Let your balalaika sing
What my guitar wants to say
