zodi SG

sigh, i've awiz been interested in playing the guitar... joined a cc guitar course and my uni's guitar club... but gave up after few months...

fingers too short i think... & simply not talented to play the instrument... find reading scores a pain... Confused

guess i can only stick to singing...

anybody wanna form a "xin yao" group? Laughing

redstone SG

No reason to play? Hehe... Also don't want my neighbours think "whos that idiot play guitar so awfully" Laughing Embarassed

Still can't press frets properly, play no sounds.

ispyyy SG

classical guitar not tat loud mah...
Press frets need practise mah...
I interested to noe reasons on quitting coz want to noe is it because of gf.. :p

redstone SG

Left hand must have very very short nails right? So can use fingertip to press frets?

ispyyy SG

u do not need to do finger plucking...
Just strum guitar and sing along... Also will be nice...
In fact, guitar is the best instrument to play along with singing...

ispyyy SG

ya.... finger nails better cut short lor...
But most importantly, the location of the pressing is important...
Just for information : try to press the string as near to the protuding lines... Coz, it will give extra grip and sharper sound...

thelesis SG

I got classical guitar but it belongs to my sis… so who gonna teach me all these?

dumbdumb! SG
