Kuali Baba SG Borrow them from the library and evaluate them for yourself. My personal preference is Lonely Planet for its ease of use.

georgek SG I prefer Lonely Planet too. I'd rather buy my own guidebook rather than to get the library's copy because a new one is more updated. I think it's better to have your own guidebook for longer journeys too, so I just ordered a few books from www.GuideGecko.com. Received them very quickly.
