Sending $$$ to China

Anyone knows of a reliable way to send money to China?

I'm buying some stuff from a supplier there in bulk and need to make payment of several hundred dollars.

I've discussed using PayPal with them but generally, in China, it's very hard for them to apply any PayPal account due to some reasons. I think it's difficulty in getting credit card in the 1st place.

I heard Western Union is not a safe way since the recipent can just deny and say they never receive anything. Any other options? Is bank transfer safe enough?

As long as there's some sort of acknowledgement of receipt provided, I'll be assured.

I've checked the supplier and chances are that they're a 99.999% real company and not some scam.

Ask your friend to send it or check the company online first,It depends on what you have bought.Usually if you buy a lot of things and the price is fair. You can send the money by any bank.

1. the method of sending
2. that the company might scam you
3. both

AFAIK, transaction handling in whatever method suggest has been more secure but huge problem lies with the other end.
