Many drivers including STOMPer Con were stuck
in the carpark of Sembawang Shopping Centre. They were even more
frustrated that the guard told them 'Management did not instruct to
open it', and refuse to open the barrier for them to pass
through.
Says this STOMPer:
"Many drivers were stuck at the Sembawang Shopping Centre.
"The carpark barrier at the exit was not functioning well, yet
the management office refused to open up the barrier for all to
clear quickly.
"Many drivers urged the security guard to do something about it
only to get this reply 'Management did not instruct us to open up
the barrier.'
"Urggh... We wanted to leave abt 9 pm but only manage to get out of
the building around 10.30 pm.
"What if the building caught fire? What is the SOP?
"Is SSC/CapitaMall so concern in making money over their public
image?"
