i'm v harsh meh. this was what i said:
xtan, you
can be having a bad day, feeling cramps, bloated, hormonal, and
feeling like you entered a miss universe contest, competing against
the likes of other round planets like mars, venus, saturn and
uranus (mass category)
but you can't use the "oh, you all don't understand how i feel,
boo-hoo, next time you pregnant then you will know my frustration"
as a lame excuse to absolve yourself for what you did.
and i'm certainly not impressed with you trying to be nonchalant
playing victim, going "oh, i can't help it if you don't empathies
with me, i'm just going to just go on my merry little way, sniff
sniff". you shouldn't even be justifying yourself, nothing can
justify what you did. you SHOULD feel apologetic that you
were childish in
mentality, poisonous in
thought, and vile in action.
you can't just board the mrt carriage, expecting everyone to take
notice and lay themselves down as a carpet to trot your swollen
feet on. yes you're pregnant, yes, i'm sure the baby is going to be
cute. yes, you deserve a seat due to your condition, but did you
have to be rude about it? the lady was asleep, you could have
gently ask for a seat (most people do actually comply willingly if
you ask nicely, didn't your parents teach you this?). but no! you
thought you would rather not open your golden mouth and teach her a
lesson by taking her photo and posting it in stomp, trying to
gather as much sympathetic pats on the back along the way. Sorry,
kinda backfired, because to me, you seem to be getting more kicks
in the butt than pats on the back.
and it's also an undisputed fact that the lady did offer you her
seat the moment she was conscious that you were there. i know
you're not exactly a packet of peanuts but hey, some people just
aren't observant. but, she did still offer her seat.
did you say thank you? apparently not! Wow, and here i was,
wondering why the younger generations are getting ruder, more
uncouth, more un-adorable, and more elitist and arrogant.
apparently we have our answer, it's parents like you, whom the kids
learnt to follow. hey, monkey see, monkey do right? so is this how
you're going to teach your kids? "Darling, if you see someone who
doesn't appeal to you, it is ok to take their picture come home and
stomp, just make sure you run really fast ok? because if you get
caught.. well, try not to get caught, sweetie."
it is, in reality, a lose-lose situation for you. you can't exactly
tell me "no! of course that's not the way i'm going to raise him
up, i'm going to teach him good manners myself!" yeah right. Good
manners like saying "thank you"? sorry, if you can tell me that,
you're just going to be one big flabby hypocrite. You can fix the
big flabby part with the christy chung formula, but you'll still be
a tight sexy hypocrite, good looking on the outside, ugly in the
inside.
i'm sure everyone will appreciate the aesthetic relief, but don't
expect getting any "mum of the year" or "best mum ever" award
anytime soon, ya?
and i read in a post that you were actually offered seats by other
generous and gracious commuters, and you refused them. seriously,
what's up with that??
Pregnant women are always RIGHT,it is a sin to argue with
them.
Wait until after she give birth then continue arguing with
her.....
