Lower gas
tariffs for Singapore households from Feb to
Apr
SINGAPORE: The gas tariff for households will decrease by 3.8
per cent or 0.67 cent per kilowatt hour (kWh), from Feb 1 to April
30, City Gas announced on Thursday (Jan 28). This means the tariff
will be 16.80 cents per kWh.
The reduction is due to a 16 per cent drop in fuel costs
compared to the previous quarter.
City Gas reviews the gas tariffs based on guidelines set by the
Energy Market Authority (EMA) and the new rates have been approved
by the gas industry regulator.
