We are looking at the big picture.
I am not against the pay rise.
I know the reality of being a teacher is harsh and the turnover
is high.
How the teachers are being treated is as illustrated in
the recent case of student hair cut incident.
The respect for teacher as an authority is lost with the
society with unreasonable parent and unsupportive
principal.
No many stand forward to say the teacher is right in
performing the hair cut.
It is not money all the time to attract people to become
teacher. (That is how narrow minded the top gun are as they also
greedy for money in how hard they fight for their pay and not for
the people)
Ya lor. Why would people want to get into a profession where
they will be fed to the sharks (parents and students) with both
hands tied (lack of authority and support from principals)?
