even if locals could apply, the problem may still lie with the
decision panel who may have already decided on the “preferred”
win…so called “instructions from the top”....
local talent is still much undeveloped starting from the system
at the top…it needs greater proliferation with them setting the
lead and good example….
perhaps the intention is to seek greater image from global
designs than a global airport known for its local made design….
or alternatively local firms could engage foreign talents to
provide ideas and support their design process…
however, my support still with local talents….they need every
opportunity to eke out to the global stage….
