Family of man who allegedly killed girlfriend
"shaken"
SINGAPORE: The family of the man who allegedly
murdered his 25-year-old girlfriend is said to be "quite shaken",
according to defence lawyer Sunil Sudheesan.
Mr Sudheesan, who will be representing 38-year-old
Gabriel Lee Haw Ling, added that Lee's family is "extremely
supportive".
Lee was charged in court on Sunday with the murder
of Lie Lek Chee in Jurong West.
He is believed to be the boyfriend of Lie, who was found dead in a
flat on Saturday morning.
Lee is currently remanded at Changi Prison for psychiatric
evaluation.
He will be back in court again on 26 April.
If convicted of murder, Lee faces the death penalty.
