School ban portable phone chargers and treatens to confiscate
them...
STOMPer SG was unhappy his school had banned portable phone
chargers, and even threatened to conduct spot checks on students'
bags.
The STOMPer explained the situation:
"My school has banned portable chargers, and threatened students
with confiscating them
"According to the school handbook, all electronic devices must
be kept in bags.
"I find this rule to be reasonable, however when I was in school
today, they actually announced that all portable chargers are to be
banned as well.
"They even threatened students that they will conduct a spot
check and will confiscate them even when it is charging in the
bag.
"The disciplinary master even concluded that it is illegal to
tap on the school's power supply, which then created confusion
because portable chargers are pre-charged elsewhere.
"This incident has created much displeasure in Guangyang
Secondary School, is this part of the rules?"
