SINGAPORE: A Chinese national has been charged in court for
allegedly attacking three police officers.
Liao Zhong Mi, 32, is accused of voluntarily causing hurt to two
sergeants and a corporal, on 7 February.
The incident happened at Albert Street just after 3am.
Liao was said to have used
his right foot to kick the left shoulder of one of the
sergeants.
He used his right foot to kick another sergeant’s groin.
Court documents state that Liao apparently used his right foot to
kick a 22—year—old corporal in his
face.
For each charge, Liao faces a maximum of five years’ jail, or a
fine or caning, or any two of the three.
