If you cheat on your wife by bonking a young girl under your care.......... how does that make you 'more of a man'?It means you can bonk two at a time?

Should have a general rule not to allow male teachers to be alone with one female student at any point in time especially during CCA.

Read that this guy was jailed for 8 years a few days ago....

Isn't it funny that the 32 year old female teacher who had sex with her student was only jailed for 10 months while this guy got 8 years? In any case,if you are a guy...even if the gal initiated sex and you got caught, sure kena chialat cos being guys who are involved in a sex case, always on the losing end thanks to the Women's Charter.

Come to think of it,some of these young women were not angels either.

That's why I said the law is an ass and nothing but an ass. It was enacted to stop girls from losing their virginity before they turn 16. Sadly many of them wilfully chose to give it away at 13.5. Time to bring down the age of consent since the current legislation no longer serves any purpose.

If the age is lower, more cases will surface and the teacher will not be punished.

If you have a daughter, you would not allow such a rule change.

Yes, but you mentioned earlier it takes 2 hands to clap. The teacher may not be the girl's first. Maybe her cherry has already been popped?

These are the reported ones. What about the unreported ones :) I bet there's plenty of it going around and society getting more liberal. Me thinks it's harsh... 8 years sentence. Given the girl was classified a minor but she's old enough to think on her feet. It was certainly willing. Had it been a female teacher seducing a boy, it would never have been like that. Seems like we are a modern world still living by the sword of ancient laws.

The teachers in Singapore need more self-esteem. Adults who have sex with underage partners mostly suffer from extremely low self-esteem problem.

I beg to differ. I would say adults who already have a family, and yet choose to have sex with underage partners, are usually those with dysfunctional marriage.
