SINGAPORE: A polytechnic student was charged on
Wednesday with allegedly taking an upskirt photo of a woman while
on an escalator at Sembawang MRT station.
Nineteen-year-old Lim Ming Chuen was charged with
one count of the intention to insult the modesty of a
woman.
The offence was allegedly committed against the
26-year-old account executive on February 9 this year.
If convicted, he could be jailed a year, fined or both.
He will back in court on Thursday.
