A polytechnic student was charged in court on Saturday with one
count of outrage of modesty.
Lim Yang Tee, 17, was arrested last Thursday in the vicinity of
Jurong West Street 72 after a member of the public called the
police.
He had detained Lim after the latter was believed to have
molested a 16-year-old.
Lim, who lives in Jurong, is believed to be involved in several
other cases of molestation committed in the area.
The cases, which involved girls aged between 11 and 13, were
reported to the police between October last year and March this
year.
Investigations into these cases are still ongoing.
