SINGAPORE: A teenager has been charged with
molesting a 15-year-old girl, last Thursday.
16-year-old Jeremy Yeo Ming Che allegedly committed
the offence at around 8.30pm at the void deck of Block 289,
Tampines Street 22.
It is believed he used his right hand to grab the
girl from behind and covered her mouth to prevent her from
shouting. Yeo is also alleged to have used his left arm to molest
her.
According to a media release from the Police, Yeo is believed to be
involved in several molest cases in Tampines.
His alleged victims were between 11 and 41 years old.
Police said Yeo was arrested at Tampines Street 23 on Tuesday.
Officers conducted a stakeout there at around 8pm and spotted the
teenager, who was said to have fit his alleged victims'
description.
Yeo's case will be mentioned again next Thursday.
If convicted of molest, he can be jailed up to 10 years and
caned.
