A SINGAPOREAN businessman was shot twice in the head by a man
riding pillion on a motorcycle as he was leaving his shop in
Malaysia late on Tuesday evening.
Mr Frankie Wong Wai Sen, 54, the owner of a fruit and vegetable
wholesale business based in Selangor, was killed instantly.
Three suspects have been held, according to the family, who
cited Malaysian police.
Chinese daily Lianhe Wanbao reported that the three are
brothers.
Though the motive is not yet clear, it is understood that Mr
Wong's belongings - a gold necklace and RM1,500 (S$630) in his
wallet - were left intact.
This is the second reported shooting of a Singaporean in
Malaysia this year. In May, a Singaporean man was shot several
times outside a pub in Johor Baru, but survived.
