i meet ppl with physical problems too... sometimes I don't know whether should I walk over to help them.. coz there was once i help a blind woman to cross the road... she shouted at me and said she didn't want my help...

cuz some of them have super strong ego & self-esteem..hence..do not wish for help from others..

most probably she feel offended that u rendered help..

that's why sometimes really don't know if one should help out anot..

there's this time whereby i boarded a super crowded bus..bt luckily..i managed to get a seat..an old fragile man got up the bus & stood beside me..hence..i got up & let him have the seat..i wasn't expecting him to express his gratitude or what..but what he did really shocked me! he actually raised his voice & said in a loud voice that who do I think I am & what do i treat him as? Did he said that he needed that seat?

i tink juz offer to help ba..whether they get angry or not nvm..wat's important is we did offer to help.. n we don end up regretting when we happen to think abt it..

is strong ego..cuz i ever did volunteer work before..

and we chatted with them mah..

there's some who confessed that at the intial stage right..they felt very demoralized..like become 废人 & hence detest anyone who offered to help them..they just want to feel "normal"..that they can do normal stuff w/o any help..(i am not saying that this mentality applies to all)

You need not blame yourself. I also do not help them.Sometimes you just don't know how to help.

Well you don't have to blame yourself just because you didn't help him. If you do see someone in future in need of help, just help them. Don't need to think twice before approaching them, they ain't going to bite your head off.

Well...perhaps that's life? I also encountered lots of incidents where I thot I could give the other party a better life....But if we were to keep thinking of those.... Life's dreadful... So just carry on with life and help out within your means....

I think that it is easy to question whether this person will scold you or not, will appreciate your help or not before you offer your assistance.

But I guess the important question is whether

you can or not

you will or not

and who cares what is the response if you did the right thing, in the right way?
