A 17-YEAR-OLD student first got to know a primary school pupil
through online networking website Friendster and decided to
befriend her.
But within a month of their online encounter in August last
year, Muhammad Saifulddin Abu Samad, a student at Institute of
Technical Education (ITE) Bishan at the time, asked her for
sex.
When they met for the second time in late September, Muhammad
Saifulddin groped her.
He would go on to get her to perform oral sex on him the
following month.
on Thursday, a district court adjourned sentencing for Muhammad
Saifulddin, pending more information on his suitability for
probation and reformative training.
If he is found suitable for such a regime, Muhammad Saifulddin
may be sent to a reformative training centre where he would be
confined for at least 18 months.
