AS A former educator and a mother of two - a son and a daughter
- I believe that sex education is best taught at home with the
parents being the prime educators.
Lessons on sexuality should begin when children are
preschoolers, when curiosity about differences in anatomy is
aroused. This early start can help prevent child molestation.
I have always believed that since I brought my children into the
world, it is my duty to teach and enlighten them about the human
anatomy. And I did.
In their growing years, I taught them about respect for one's
body and that of the opposite sex.
If parents teach their children the right things while they are
young, they will never live to regret it.
