Man found dead at Dover Road construction
site
SINGAPORE: A man was found dead at a construction site at
Dover Road on Saturday morning.
Civil defence officers received a call at 9.50am that a man was
found lying on the floor of a tower crane platform which was some
45 metres above ground.
When SCDF firefighters arrived at the scene, they tried to
resuscitate the man as he had no pulse and was not breathing.
The man was then lowered to the ground using a rescue stretcher via
a rope and pulley system.
SCDF paramedics who attended to him on the ground pronounced him
dead.
An SCDF statement said there was no open wound found on the
man.
The Police are now investigating the case.
