An accident involving a lorry and a trailer along Gul Road early
this morning left four foreign workers dead.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force, SCDF said as a result of the
collision, the front passenger’s cabin of the lorry was
crushed.
SCDF used hydraulic spreader and cutter and 2 winches to free
the front seat passenger from the wreckage.
The man, who was already unconscious, was later pronounced dead
by paramedics.
Two passengers at the rear of the lorry were also pronounced
dead at the scene.
Another died later at the National University Hospital.
Six other workers on the lorry were injured and sent to NUH.
