The Central Narcotics Bureau or CNB has seized more than
$200,000 worth of drugs in a series of raids.
The haul includes 1.12 kilograms of heroin and more than 1,000
Erimin-5 tablest.
CNB received information that a suspected drug trafficker had
received a consignment of heroin from a courier from
overseas.
Its officers raided yesterday a hideout at Blk 133 Lorong Ah Soo
where the 31-year-old trafficker was arrested.
His associate - a 35-year-old unemployed female and a suspected
abuser - were also arrested.
The next day, CNB officers arrested the 26-year-old drug courier
and his friend in a Malaysian registered vehicle.
They will be investigated for the offence of importation of a
controlled drug.
