if got onli 5 lane, can squeeze 8 car then they will

In my experience, I find that drivers in Perth tend to be a bit more courteous and patient (less use of the horn) compared to singaporean drivers. Wink

many drivers dont signal and accelerate when they see people signalling

this very true for taxi and subaru and evo drivers ok.. they scared they malu and bapok if ppl cut into their lane ir if they signal

on the other hand, singaporeans scared summon, always good boy and wait to park into proper parking lot. we stop at 99% of red lights, except some impatient drivers maybe..

if compare to JB drivers, at least we park properly, follow most rules. we follow the theory but we are out to kill fellow motorists. we have to fight it out to reach our destination in one piece

Some ppl, taxis or lorries must change lane because they have to exit/turn up ahead or they will miss the turn. Sometimes there are passengers in vehicle who suddenly tell the driver to turn up ahead. These ppl need to change lane pronto. With that in mind, whats the harm in letting some one cut in.
Actually if you are in a good mood, you will allow, and feel pleased.
If you are in a foul mood, you won't, and feel more agitated for that.

It's better for you to drive hapily and courteously.

Police officer crashes his car into pillar along walkway at Jurong

SINGAPORE : A police officer crashed his car into a pillar along a walkway at about 6pm on Monday.

The incident happened in front of Block 274D at Jurong West Avenue 3.

A police spokesman told Channel NewsAsia the plain-clothes officer had lost control of his vehicle.

It then mounted the kerb and hit the pillar.

No one was injured, but the car's bonnet was dented.

The police are investigating the incident. - CNA/ms

if one have ever crashed his vehicle on singapore roads before, then his driving skills is considered very poor and weak already and needs refresher training course..

cos singapore roads when compared to many other countries eg, hongkong, bangkok or even kl, are much easier to drive on

well a lot depends on individual skills, some drivers can do it fast without traffic accidents, while some weaker ones can't..

if a person has been speeding and driving recklessly and have consistently been involved in traffic accidents and demerit points, then we'd rather him drive carefully like a P plate driver, cos once there is an accident, traffic jam will follow,

some s o t b drivers with bad driving records, traffic accidents and demerit points still try to be smart-alec and drive like pro, they are not the ones who can do it fast

i learn alot when i drive in to malaysia, its very good driving experience regardless u are at highway or small road. but do look out for the motorists as there is too many motorcyclist liao..

Sometimes i feel some drivers in singapore thought the whole road belong to them and dont wan to move to the side for fast moving cars on the right lane, this cause traffic to slow down and also very prone to accident.

Last of not least, driving slow is good as it help to save fuel comsuption and also less accident, but try to be considerate to other road user too, if everyone learn to be responsible of themselves and others, i think driving can be a very relax thing.
