Hi,
can anybody change taxi regulation? I drove in one area of
australia and people are allow to own taxi after obtaining a
license. I think this is what happens last time in Singapore, and
still in some part of the world. Phillipine is not bad either.
Last time taxi driver are gung ho. They fix everything
themselves, soure their own repair shop, buy insurance, attend to
legal matter, search out the routes. Now, tons of wimps have to
'depend' on a few people call the shots and be held hostage by
whatever rule they set. Worst, most of the office workers know nuts
about what's going on.
I think the Taxi Assocaition is no use making of people from the
major companies. I think LTA is no use coming up with silly
guidelines. They are half looking into the matter and when the
going gets tough, they 'run away'.
Stupid laws do not remain. It just serve as a reminder for
future punishment.
