And its amazing how the state media have really successfully
played this into majority of singaporeans minds for the last 20
years since he enter politics
Most of us here can't believe the bullshit the media here writes
about 7K Taxi Driver.
But some can still believe the bullshit they write about our
opposition politcians
It is not that I do not hear or read Dr Chee's manifesto and
lecturing on politic of Singapore, but I find it very dry, that is
my comment and opinon.
And for your info, I do not read any local papers, just the
global nets information and some oversea journals.
For me, academy PhDs are usually straitjacket guys,
and that also apply to some of our scholars in the
PAP. As patriotic as they are to the country and so
wanting to serve, they lack the skrew and cunning of a true blue
politician. It is not about something that you see not right and go
all the way to make it right, and think that you are the righteous
of all rights.
Of course I know he is patriotic, wanting to serve, help the
people, but like any PhD guys, mostly are bull headed, and that is
also why Doctorate guys are seldom make head of a country or top
businessmen. You simply have to change strategy when things cannot
work out, not bang all the way and assume that you are in the right
course with your stubborn PhD mentality, the refusal to change and
adapt lead to your misunderstanding of the ground and therefore
your popularity.
Politics do not ask for sympathy, nor does it ask for
illusionist, any down to earth person who understand the ground and
able to change, to move and to evade for the better and adaption
along with the ground is a good politican, otherwise, TCSS lecture
and shouting at enemy is not going to work, and in fact, get
worst.
