many uncle part time only . now more 30s taxi driver liao . will prefer omo till really cannot then will find relief . finding relief seems easy leh but easy going hirer difficult , wat icand tink lah.

Why not work as security guard ? Or Mcdonald clear tables also more than $20 .

Security guard one month chow chow $1500 with CPF .

And can sleep on the job as well .

Why so chum drive like hell taxi companies earn a bigher chunk than u ?

Yup toh guan cng, pool's skoda specially modified use cng.. haha

But only cng at toh guan, special pump no other cng car use one, got foam come out

For me not so stress, cos got 2 other source of income. But omo seriously not easy, should always follow seniors advise, start relief

Talk to many drivers out there, often hear 10-20 yrs driving as relief, but so far never met any driver solid 10 yrs above OMO

Pool saw me at toh guan just now, "cyben you work so late? " Normal days 10-11pm at toh guan, but today start my second shift 1hr late, end up ot 2-3hrs more because today obk

But at least u have the responsibility to clean up a bit inside before off work , and as an OMO , make it even nicer .

wat job is easier than driving ? i load unload stuff 8-5 earn 50. go hm nite whole body pain . i wk 12hr factory earn80 pang sai cannot squat . idrive lorry , suddenly all chinamen .

Pool state liao, security guard... Sit there, most of the time can sleep, sometimes walk around a bit, open gate, close gate.

One young guy i know near my place work as porter at hospital, send document here and there, send blood, medication, sometimes bring bodies down to mortuary..

Every document/blood/bodies considered one trip, $5 p/hr plus "trip" commission. No need drive just walk here and there within hospital premise, some days he earn more then me.. LoL

Oh btw, i use to drive 16hrs a day 7 days a week as onsite IT tech, one man cover nearly 300 locations islandwide i thought drive taxi 10-12hrs should not be chicken feet...

But now i think differently....

or can i say those wanna earn alot , interview go where lah wait for call lah go rob bank faster or can be minister . we wk and we simply dun nid criticism . or 1st , go tell his premier chinaman td yno nid ns come here take citizen then drive taxi .

Ya I agree. Driver taxi is better then those delivery. Need to find loading unloading bay. Rush here and there. Still need to load/unload goods. Drive taxi the move do some house removal once a while nia. See mood lah....

Security guards not all can idle one. You go Hougang Mall see the security guard all wear vest and tie like Chrysler driver stand there whole day sian sian one....Lol

This has already been said in other thread (Professions of our TDs before joining). Our members come from all walks engineer, casket driver, army, bus, delvy, no minister (yet) ... but since joined we are in same boat for the time being and may need help/support from each other.. Don't think anybody criticising just saying what they think..
