Are you referring to TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS (International English Language Testing System) ? Other than these 2 international english test, if it is just an normal english enrichment course should be no problem lah !

And of the 60% chinese , i would say 50% of them hardly speak Mandarin , all English .

Now Taxi License Refresher course if england not powder oso "jialat".

Instructor give 15 secs to find Pt. A to Pt. B ( Sengkang square to AMK park connector). Park connector???? smlj? ( 2 mins over still dun no what to look for)

Btw, 1st slide they show when course start........

Top line--M.H.A. logo

Second line--TVDL is for SINGAPOREAN only.(not for PR, FT or even blue IC)

Third line---Security, Our country,blah blah blah

Finally, video on why this is so, coz in 2003, two taxis were blown-up by terrorists in Mumbai

but my class kena all this, some more old timer say although each lesson suppose to last 3 hrs but they end very early one.

mine boh leh, everynight end 2130 hrs, chun chun! wtf

somemore instructor say, actually got more exercise to do but we very slow, otherwise got OT

No lah, they threaten only but in the end all pass.

Whole class of 15 TVDL holders, only 3 are full-time, the rest are stand-by license, very good to collect $50 for course and $40 for renewal.

But this new syllabus spend about 7 hours just focus on how to use Street directory,totally discourage use of GPS for taxi drivers
