I alway tell pax the ERP ahead, most knew it, like morning from meyer going into anson. Pax said ECP, edward..knn, that alone the ERP on ECP and CBD already...

Under Chapter 259B of the Penal Code, failure to pay taxi fare is a CRIME:“24D.

Any person who, having made use of a taxi service and without reasonable excuse, fails or refuses to pay the fare as indicated on the taximeter shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $1,000 and, in the case of a second or subsequent offence, to a fine not exceeding $2,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both.”

Have to chute stunt ourself if they dun pay. If halfway at expressway, I sure get the pax out. If other places, same, go mata chu.

Locals understand very well.

Foreigners may not know what erp is, just say toll, they will understand.

Make it easy on yourself by asking which way they want go by. Pax choose route, they responsible for whatever crap charge.

Yup, recognised by iu unit, pte car different iu, bike different, lorry different, bus different, etc. If you use bike iu on your car then it will deduct bike ERP rate. But sure few weeks later lta and you letter

Yesssss that's why some CP like Zoo can park whole day jalan jalan also free. TTSH also got lobang...but is only the A&E open CP. SGH so far no lobang. So if next time to TTSH see doctor or want to go Novena Square gai gai you know where to park liao....but must wait about 30mins sometimes then got lot....Lol

I think what Poolman do is right. This type of pax must appear more in the media, best is if they create commotion at crowded location. Call police not enough, must also call reporters. Big headlines " Pax refuse to pay TD ERP charges and fined in court". This is the BEST signal out to all this kind of pax. I definitely will cut and laminate a copy put inside my taxi. Next time pax dun want to pay ERP, then just show them the newspaper cutting..... hahaha.....

erp sure must pay. but so far at night never encounter this problem.
