Legally speaking, taxis companies have no rights to take your
deposit, other than you disappeared without a trace, it must
be from both side agreement, that is you and the company
agreement, then they can take your deposit.
Just like cdg with abt 30,000 hirers + reliefs deposited 30,000
X $1k, this large amount if put on cdg shares or capital land
shares or banks shares, it would had further generated more money,
everyyear, with 5 to 8 % dividends, it will be more than enough to
pay many of their staffs bonuses and perks. Now, why do we get
nothing?
So, like renting a car, you also need to pay a deposit, but if
you get into an accident, reported and covered by insurance, the
deposit is pay back to you, it must not be a one sided party
authorisation to confiscate your deposit without any valid or
signatory agreement, therefore it is absolutely wrong for taxis
companies to use our deposit as a yardstick.
Yes, we can attend court or whatever lawyer letter coming in,
but they have to pay us back our deposit once we are not driving
for them.
