Tzarh SG

OptimalTrans SG

as mention before, Taxi is the only "business" that have no right on Pricing.

even it is agreeable by the payee, it is still illegal,

Poolman SG

To StraitsTime .

Free Advertisement for Lake View .

No other advertisement can cause so much awareness than such news .

Now 6m people who read this will go google and search Lake View numbers.

And huat lar !!!!!

They know how to call a cab ....... pay a bit more .

Poolman SG

A bit slow leh ..... Year 2010 SinMing already posted liao in newspaper .

knn after that , Lake View many call ..... Sin Ming only can caused so big awarenss .

Straits Time this time ..... huat lah .

No need give name card until like hell hahaha'

Thanks man Straits' Time .

Poolman SG

If our customers willing to pay for a cab ..... we cannot stop them one .

Our customers dun complaint one .

LTA will only take action if pax complaint .

Anyway , LV is a license radio taxi kiosk .

Alongside Taman Jurong Boon Lay and Beach Rd .

We have been there since the 80's .

Some LTA enforcemements not even born .

So talk what ?

Terry Young SG

Reporter got no news create news.

And give lake view extra publicity instead.

But nicely balanced, LTA can scream illegal but other transport experts weighed in and say how is that illegal? Pax offered, not td. We're not touting.

Poolman SG

or is ST indirectly saying about those limosine taxis ?

Terry Young SG

especially after last night rain, more people will look for alternate ways.

Go thru Taka at 1045, more than 80 in queue. ZERO taxi

Sonata83 SG

pool,

go LV stand and scan a copy of that 2010 paper reply by LTA then post here to clear all their queries...

The best part from the reply by LTA for what i still able to recall is : 你情我愿的交易，没对也没有错。。。

Poolman SG

ya lor knn ..... LTA gave ShinMing one answer , gave ST say one answer

Contradicting ...... always is.

Poolman SG

LV solid one lah ..... page out $x plus meter offer ..... sure flying one from the shelf , hahahahah

Poolman SG

Now then they say ....

Poolman take those $x plus meter jobs , can be more than any newbies who started their meter recently , hahahah

Terry Young SG

LTA will always give politically correct reply to ST.

Cause the movers and shakers read ST. Give wrong but reality based reply to ST mean the spokeman can change job already.

Poolman SG

Last night at Under Apple Tree wait for rain stop ......sekali Jenny page "pax offered advance now" from Tanjong Pagar Area ..... to Simei .

That pax very happy to pay ... say it is still cheaper than those troubles to get a cab .

She said only LV can give her a cab just by a call . No other taxi companies can do that .

Most have to hold and returned with " Sorry no taxis available at your area , pls call back again ."

That's what $x plus meter can do .

Rbs70 SG
