We will not say replace it completely, we only want a better
voice for ourselves, currently what the govt is doing is still
below expectation,
housing is still high and getting higher
cost of living is at all time high
Foreign is still coming, govt admitted it, but they said, at a
comfortable rate
And they wanted to accomodate 6million
Then they tried to be transparent by exposing those sex scandals
here and there, and get a few guinea pigs to be put on the
slaughter board so as to please the pleasants. All these could had
been going on for the past 40years of the rule until the recent
election.
So now they turn around and have more regular dialogues session
with all walk of life, make you so involved and happy about
it,..but still they make the final decision, they still can change
the chief justice, the bills and the taxation as and when they
like.
$1000 income can buy HDB?
Singapore can accomdate 6 million peoples?
HDB housing going for millions in resales?
LKY just said, we still need foreigners, we still welcome them
and wanted them, but at a more comfortable pace so as to please the
Singaporeans.
Well, we can also said, we still need opposition, we still
welcome opposition and wanted them, but at a more comfortable pace
of changing so as not to change it completely overnite.
Thing we should ask ourselves is then, since the historical
events of opposition wining a GRC, not to mention of what the
opposition had done, but rather, what changes do you find in our
govt policies and the way of their action? If you think, now is
better, they listen more to you, they consult before given
executives order, they do more for you, then ask yourself, what if
opposition won 2 GRCs?
