Bellboy duty is to open door/close door, carry luggage in and
out........
In fact, taxi calling got nothing to do with them.........
But since, they are standing at the doorway, might as well kepoh
a bit for the guests, and most time, guests will tips
them.........
Tranportation requirement strictly from concierge, sometime they
might inform the bellboy/bell manager but is not a
must.........
Taxi stand at Hotel driveway also for general public
usage.......that's explain why hotel always put a signage, priority
for hotel guests leaving to airport, in order not to confuse the
public.......but sometime non-departure guests also priority, why?
You know, I know lah........
Bellboy got no right or authority to tell TD to charge on-call
fee to the guests, TD also advise not to accept this kind of
booking........but Bellboy can call by phone on behalf for the
guests........same thing, they kepoh........
If the guests requested Concierge to arrange transport, it don't
come cheap, so you know lah...........
