The incident in the video is a common sight OTR, it doesn't
surprise me at all.
As a matter of fact, I've been seeing kiasu and arrogant TDs
making similar reckless maneuvers against other TDs quite
frequently.
Just witnessed an incident involving a TD that's 10x more "guai
lan" than the video a couple days ago. 3 cabs were side by side at
the Selegie/Sophia road junction facing Serangoon waiting for light
to turn green, then a lady appeared from about 100m away and
started waving at the cabs.
I'm sure you guys can already figure out what is going to happen
when the lights turn green. 
Locally trained, crossed bred(black horse) stallion named "yao
gui TD" from the outer most lane surprises the other 2
thouroughbred(red horses) when it cuts into the inner track at the
last 20m of the track and secured the win by a nose!
The intensity of the race was clearly visible....trails of black
smoke filled the air, accompanied by deafening tire screeches and a
long blast of the horn echoed through the streets...
Wow! TD Ten times more "guai lan" but still TD. Where is the
TP?
