my 1.5 yr old @ 265,000 km, gearbox stucked at 3rd
gear cannot downshift.
Sat afternoon in, sunday morning out.
I think the problem is gearbox always dragging at 4th gear when
speed is at 70 to 80 kmph without turbo (rpm at around 1300 to 1450
rpm).
Maybe maintaining turbo, whenever possible, in 4th gear may help
prolong life of gearbox i.e maintain car at above 80 kmph (speedo
reading) with rpm at slightly above 1500. I'm referring to
facelift models.
I've driven several jap auto cars before and none has this kind
of gear-dragging, macham like driving manual like that.
