Best shift 7.30 am (no school-going mad rushing crowd) to 5
pm.
My observations after driving almost 2 yrs night relief as
newbie:
Night scenery less colourful, everything orangey, you know the
amber street lights.
Trips were rather monotonous, mostly send pax home then rush
back to town.
Quite often when pax (those not straight from work or during
weekends) board, straight away can smell urine smell. Why? They
just went to toilet and stepped on urine. Somemore some can say
"uncle, your cab got urine smell!".
Night, esp after midnight, more dangerous for TDs because he
himself and others tend to speed while being less alert and
visibilty is also poorer than day.
Some lull nights after midnight can be very moody and required a
lot of self-discipline to stay on the roads/hunt for pax.
OMO? No life...
