If let say you really interested in the car, you can bring the
car to Vicom inspection first. Over there, they will do the basic
test and at the same time, can ask them to help you evaluate the
condition of car whether got bang or condition of engine ( external
only ). Should be less than $150. can get the seller to bring for
the test by themselves.
Vicom will rate the conditon of car as A, B, C ( If i remembered
correctly )
Things to do
1) Go for evaluation
2) Test drive
3) Check for appearance by yourself
2005 rex going for about $62k now on the average.
Rd tax about $1400.
Better re-check on the insurance. Its gona be a killer.
For rex, dun hold too much expectation on the condition of the
engine, coz 9/10 owners go and whack the engine.
