Taxi overtakes car without signalling, nearly causes
accident
STOMPer Hillda was nearly involved in an accident when a cab
overtook her car without signalling.
Wrote the STOMPer:
“This video was taken along Jurong West Avenue 1 at 7.58pm
yesterday evening (March 1).
“A near-collusion with a taxi.
“Even after I sounded my car horn to warn him that he is driving
into my lane, it seems like he is very stubborn and insisted on
dangerously overtaking my car.
“To avoid a collision, I intentionally slowed down to allow the
taxi driver to overtake me.
“Please see that not only did he dangerously overtake me, he
also did not signal his intention.
“The taxi driver has passengers in his taxi. He is putting the
life of his passengers and I at risk.
“His inconsiderate driving behaviour has caused distress to
me.”
