Want a bit of luxury for a while. The V6 I believe was selected for the more refined engine revs as a luxury fleet. I have a lot of respect for the crown actually, but too bad it's time is up. No updated versions either. Handling is fantastic for it's age. Not many other Japanese car made in the 80's can ride so well without shock absorbers.

actually most fast cab drivers I met are in a Merc. Step throttle everyone also can... but once in a while you see some white haired Taxi uncle charge into a corner with the merc... Damn cool man.

skoda call come under another group , so call maybe different to other normal premium taxi (silvercab)

i would suggest you talk to your relief to consider joining LV group if you wish to have more call, i presume previously drive for CDG, it will be lots of different driving for CDG n premium.. you will encounter pax not taking due to no nets, and some even think credit not avaiable, sometime pax don't even bother to ask and take the cab behind you, be prepare for it.

Bro Serpent , dun worry too much. Just drive as usual and get used to silver walkie calls. By the way, the calls are FOC. So no need to pay to pemier every month . Also if you hit the quota no need to pay the walkie monthly bill.

As for myself, I drove the white volkswagen touran. I just drive as per normal.Street pax are very shy of my taxi. But its ok . I am used to it . Also my taxi is not equipped with any radio set. So I join sentosa group just to fall back.

Anyway I know most skodas TDs ply at night at T3 . Maybe you can get more info from them. Good luck bro.

ya lor, just drive and see how, any issue talk to premium, they do listen ro the driver problem seriously and help when necessary, if DRO cannot help to solve, request to see Mr. Yee, he very powerful one. take note premium should be shifting office to changi south this few days same as where you topup diesel
