Cars driven by computers is already here. We already can control
a vehicle on moon from earth. But this idea of driverless taxi or
car wont happen so soon. The issue is insurance claim. So if the
remote car make mistake and crash, who is going to pay? The
manufacturer maybe. So like that means this tech will remain a
niche market.
