Which taxi company with the least or no deposit for relief ?

Hi,

I have stopped driving taxi part-time for almost 2 years already but before that I have done this for the past 13 years. I taken back my deposit with Comfort.

Can anyone tell me which company offer the least or no deposit for relief driver because I want to start driving taxi part-time again. Every Monday and Wednesday nights only.

When you said 1st installment you mean how many more times must I pay after that...

One taxi average $5 more .

Then diesel have to pump at Esso .

Go do your math about Esso's diesel .

Do you have $300 at least ?

Then for long term , pay deposit to taxi company .

Same lor , when u quit , money still come back to you .

Appreciate very much for the advice... if you do not mind, what is your opinion on the best option for a relief driver who do not mind driving a cab without getting any calls but prefer to get passengers on the road side...

Cheapest.... normally the smallest taxi company around... call only thru your walky or hp...

As you leave yourself with limited options (ie, want to drive on Mon and Wed nights only), you'd be better to stay with the biggest group, so your odd of getting suitable hirer is higher.

Or you do the othery way around, find a hirer first, then join to be relief for his taxi company.

Don't worry too much about the initial deposit. Worse come to worst, open an IOU account with unker Pool. :)

but driving time is restricted 5am to 5pm or 5pm to 5am

Recently SMART offering $500 deposit to drive off few models. i think got

stuck with cab, i don't like them, most drive KNN

Mostly, these beach or AMK drivers including me are freelance in all kind of trade, taxis being one of it, we therefore cannot get a permanent relief job because we cannot promise the hirer that we might throw key one week later due to better contract job offered. Another tiype are those get boots out by cab companies, debt ridden, cannot or do not want to get a permanent job, be it working class, hirer or relief. Mostly offered are crowns, check before drive.

When you said "check before drive".. can you tell me, if you don't mind, what is it I need to check ? :)

As for private crowns .... one day rental extra $5 .... diesel pumped at normal petrol kisok another perhaps $10 gone ( differences i guess ) .

In a month ...... $450

Normally , it's those Crowns taxis that let you drive some other days .

Cos most is OMO .

Dun dream of Wish or Sonata .

Must be really lucky to find one .

Want cheap , want near , no need call ... try TransCab Crown . Their daily rental now as low as $38 per shift .

Then can pump at Defu or Bukit Batok for company's diesels .
