I know a good brother of mine who give up driving taxi and
become a full time taoist priest, he told me that seeing ghost is
very unlucky for a person, and it also no good for the ghost, there
are rules governing heaven, earth and hell,
In heaven, those gods hold power, in earth, human (people) hold
power and in hell, the ghost hold power. In heaven, god can punish
or reward you, in earth, you can do what you like, but have to take
the consequences of both the civil laws and after death punishment
by gods, you can go rape, rob, stop your taxi, go have sex etc etc,
nobody can stop you, you hold the power to yourself here.
For ghost, in hell, they can punish you, but in earth, they are
at your mercy, they are not suppose to let you see, and they must
step oneside to allow you to go thru, more so, because we cannot
see them. Those ghost that haunt peoples will be punish in hell,
therefore, do not be afraid of ghost, they are actually one step
below you, the more timid you are, and the more open you are (like
purposely invite them in or looking for them), the more chances
they will come, if you invite, you canmot blame them from
attending. As long as we respect them and they respect us, the
situation will be good.
I remember in army, we use to invite them to play a game where
you have a yellow cloth with lots of chinese characters, the centre
is a cup with an arrow, off the light, with only a candle, we
invited the spirit in by placing our index finger on top of the
inverted cup, then slowly it move by itself, you can ask anything.
