At the start of the journey, before boarding, the pax who is
PRC is already asking alot of questions how to get
there, how long, how much etc etc. tried explaining to her, she
still also dont understand the route or the meter system.
But because theres no other taxi nearby, she got in but not very
happily. i know she wants to go Orchard but she dont know where, so
i suggested drop at Paragon. She looked like she dont believe,
wanted to ask but kept quiet.
When we got there and i showed her meter, first she paused a
bit, then she slowly paid..Then after change collected, she asked
for receipt. I gave her..then immediately she threatened did i try
to cheat her?? by going the wrong route or overcharge her?? i said
no i went the straightest fastest least jam way! Because in my
heart I want her out asap!
Then she threatened i buy back the receipt i gave her for half
the price of the fare! or she will find someone to write in
complain i tried to be funny with her, true or not she dont care,
at least leave me a bad record. when i heard this, the more i
reacted, the more she look angrier and determined. so i finally
decided f la, just count myself unlucky!..
Bro, next time be firm on yr part. never compromise with this
idiots!
I got twice this type of pax as you mentioned. when they
challenged me on the route, I stopped at the side of the road and
ask them: " you PRC people, dun know the route and yet want to
challenge and accuse taxi driver going long route? from here how to
go? can you direct me now? We Singapore taxi unlike other country,
we dun greed for that few cents or dollars. This is singapore ok?"
(Sounded a bit unhappy)

Sometimes I purposely see their reaction when I dun want to stop
at the double ziczac line infront of PRC embassy, and stop slightly
further.
